Agreemi is the result of over 12 years running a digital agency and another 5 years running other service delivery businesses.
Over that time we have worked with thousands of clients on thousands of projects and despite having robust contracts in place (that has evolved over the years and across many challenging situations) there are always disagreements and disputes that can arise. Usually, by the time the signed contract comes out again, the dispute has already escalated, and varying party interpretations still become a problem. The escalation beyond this point is lawyers are brought in and cost and potential losses increase even further.
We were adamant about tracking any disagreements and disputes that arose over the years, often sitting as a team to analyze what caused the issues. More often than not the issue would mostly come down to misunderstandings, expectations, and miscommunication, we would also identify points during our projects where simple documented communication would have stopped it from even becoming an issue.
We have also been on the consumer side of the equation many times as well, using other agencies for our own needs, agencies who were not on top of communication, and our own misunderstandings leading to disputes for the services they provided. It is difficult as a consumer to sit in the unknown after handing over funds waiting for your expectations to be met.
Written contracts and agreements were just not working as well for us as we wanted. We needed a modern approach that made it easier for both parties to stay on top of things.
Our learnings helped us develop a systematic way to stop these issues from popping up, and Agreemi is our way to automate as much of the process as possible. A platform that benefits both service providers and service consumers. A platform that removes misunderstandings, manages expectations, handles communication, and results in mutually beneficial agreements.
